The GC3 story
Grace Community Christian Church was founded in 2015 by pastor/teacher Brandon Richie, after 16 years of working in ministry at other churches. With a strong emphasis on biblical exposition in preaching, reformed theology, and being family integrated, GC3 opened on Sunday, August 23rd 2015. Located in a former car detailing warehouse the church would soon expand to Sunday school, Tuesday night apologetics class, and Wednesday night family study night. In the summer of 2016, GC3 began its first community wide ministry of “Clothing the Community”. The ministry provides free clothes to the community and those in need. June 2017, saw GC3 host its first annual “Seek the Word” convocation focusing on the dangers of false teachers and false doctrine in churches today.
2019 marked a year of big changes for GC3. Membership became a practice of the church in January as the first official church membership meeting was held. GC3 also named it’s first elders in this year with Brian Rains and John Dailey were named to the office of elder.
In June of 2019 GC3, which had come to outgrow the old car detailing spot, moved to it’s current home about a mile north. With more space and a fresh look GC3 embarked on it’s mission to reach the surrounding community for the glory of God. As Grace Community Christian Church continues to emphasize strong biblical teaching, doctrinal understanding, and community outreach we are excited to see where God leads our ministry.
